Providence Properties are proud to offer a new service to all of our tenants. For a small monthly fee - we can arrange for our highly rated, reliable team of professional cleaners to put your house on their weekly cleaning list! We guarantee that you will be happy with their high level of cleaning skills. We do monitor their cleaning and make spot checks from time to time on their quality of workmanship.
If there is something that is not done / cleaned as you would like then just let us know immediately and our helpful, friendly office staff will deal efficiently with your problem. Our cleaners are fully covered by insurance to give you peace of mind. We should discuss beforehand how much cleaning time you need to book and how much this will cost you - this will depend on the size of your house.

FAQS
How should I prepare for the FIRST cleaning visit? and most of it is relevant for subsequent visits too)
Our cleaners will do as much cleaning of your house as it is possible to do in the pre-arranged time that you have set up. As each house is different from each other - they will obviously have to spend some of their allotted cleaning time on finding their way about your house - so please do not expect miracles to happen on their first visit if you have only booked for - say - four hours.
However they will vacuum your carpets, mop the floors, dust and polish your furniture, wipe clean your kitchen work-tops, clean the toilet and empty rubbish bins etc. They will obviously complete more tasks on subsequent visits.
It is a good idea to tidy up your personal possessions and clothes before your cleaner arrives! They are NOT employed to pick up items lying around on the floor - nor to hang up your discarded clothes in the wardrobe - nor to re-place items into drawers etc. They are there to clean! They will clean your sink and draining board but NOT do your washing up! ( unless by prior arrangement of course )
It is very important to store your valuables away in a safe place so that our cleaners have NO reason to open drawers, cupboards etc - except under the sink maybe.
We all know that usually the happier and more positive that we are - the more work gets done, so we suggest you have a chat with your cleaner to show them where you keep your tea, coffee, sugar and milk in order for them to brew a cup of tea or coffee using your provisions.
Also it helps them work more quickly if they are allowed to listen to their favourite radio station! It is very important that you make it quite clear what they can do and what they cannot do in your home. It all helps to make the worker happy, and the more friendly and respectful you are to them, the more work gets done for you.
The more encouragement and positive feedback you give to your cleaner the more they will feel like doing jobs for you. They want you to be a happy and satisfied client. It does not take much time and effort for you to show them how much you appreciate their work!
Will the cleaner do my laundry?
Yes the cleaner will be happy to put your washing into your washing machine - and dryer- as long as you have arranged it with us in the office beforehand. In order to save precious cleaning time do make sure that you leave your laundry in a clearly visible place - already sorted into coloureds and whites - as we do not accept any responsibility for colour runs; already sorted into cottons, woollens, dry-clean / hand-wash only - as we do not accept any responsibility for shrinkages etc; already checked for paper tissues, coins, bus tickets and supermarket receipts etc as we do not accept any responsibility for the breakdown of your washing machine/ dryer. Finally do please leave clear instructions on the use of your washing machine/ dryer.
Will the cleaner do my ironing?
That will be fine as long as you let us know beforehand - and you may need to extend your cleaning time. All you need to do is leave the pile of ironing in a prominent place, along with your ironing board and iron. If there are any special instructions for using your iron then please write them down or tell us about them. If you are used to using a spray starch or filtered water then please leave these near to your iron and our cleaner will be happy to use them accordingly!
Will the cleaner change my bedding?
Yes the cleaner will be happy to change your bedding as long as it is obvious that you want it doing. Just leave the clean sheets, duvet covers etc on the bed. Let us know if you require the bedding to be ironed beforehand but please remember this will use up some of your precious cleaning time.
